Thanks to the support of the Associated Students of CSU, Chico, Adventure Outings has grown into a vibrant outdoor recreation and education program for our students and the wider Chico community. Adventure Outings has grown to host on-average 60 trips per year, and be home to several on-campus offerings including the Equipment Room at the Wildcat Recreation Center, the Climbing Wall, and the Bike Hub at the Bell Memorial Union. This year, Adventure Outings is celebrating 40 years of adventuring together with Adventure Outings! The definitions are adapted from San  Francisco State’s Project Rebound and the Underground Scholars Language Guide for Communicating About Those Involved in the Carceral System. Formerly Incarcerated -includes those who have been sentenced and served time in a carceral institution (prison, immigration detention centers, local jails, juvenile detention centers, etc.) and are now released. System Involved - includes those who have been involved in the carceral system but have not been sentenced to a carceral institution or who have been sent for short periods of time.
