- Dec 35:00 PMGeneral MeetingGeneral Meetings are for members & other interested parties that want to be informed on the progress of the team car in addition to learning about the engineering & design process for the project. Wildcat Racing: Formula SAE is an engineering challenge-based club that works to design and fabricate a mini Formula 1 style vehicle. Annual competitions are held by SAE International in Brooklyn, MI every May (for the internal combustion (IC) class). This competition requires that teams produce a brand new vehicle every year and present design and validation on the vehicle in accordance with good engineering practices. At competition, there are a variety of events to participate in which include presentations (Design Review, Technical Inspection, and Business/Cost), static events (Sound and Tilt), and dynamic events (Brakes, Acceleration, Skid Pad, Endurance, and Autocross).
